Lately I have been thinking that I should write down some of the funny things the kids have done and said. I tried to decide where I should do this and I thought that here would be perfect!
Kahlan: For Jake's new job he sales a software called Open Tree Map. He told Kahlan that he gets to learn about trees. So last week Jake went to Charlotte for a conference, Kahlan prayed that "dad could learn about trees and help teach other people about trees so that they could help Heavenly Father make the earth". It was really cute!
Ian: The other day we came home from dropping Kahlan off at preschool. I asked Ian if he wanted a snack and he said yes. So I asked if he wanted veggie straws and he shook his head and hand and said "nawnawnaw". Then I asked if he wanted animals crackers and he shook his head and hand again and said "nawnawnaw". Then I asked if he wanted a fruit snack and he said yes. I think he knows what he wants:)
Ian: Lately when we give Ian warm food he always says "hahaha" (saying it's hot). It's pretty funny. At church this last week he was looking at our Christ book and came across Christ eating bread and water. He looks at the bread and says "hahaha". It was really cute!
Just some cute pictures of Ian!

Halloween 2014
The kid's favorite show right now is Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Therefore they were Izzy and Cubby from there. I was lucky that Kahlan didn't really think about wanting to be Elsa until after Halloween. I told her she could be her next year and she was happy with that.
Dad carved the pumpkin and he did a great job. The kids loved it!
Ian was not a big fan of wearing the bandanna so I asked him if he would wear it so we could take pictures for grandpa and he said yes. He wore it the whole time while I was taking pictures and he did great. As soon as we walked back inside he took the bandanna and the vest off. I just had to laugh!
Saint Louis Zoo
We were able to stop at the Saint Louis Zoo on our way back from Utah and we had lots of fun. Most of the animals were out for us and Ian loved pointing at everything!
Other things we did in Utah!
We were able to stay at my sister Ashley's house and the kids had so much fun with their cousin's toys. Here are a few things they did.
We also took the kids to Monkey Joe's and Kahlan especially had fun there.
We went to a BYU football scrimmage and had some fun. We didn't last too long since it was hot and the kids were not too interested.
We went and saw my grandma and she really enjoyed seeing us. We were glad we could see her!
We stopped by the earth science museum.
SUMMER WEDDING!
We were glad that we could go out to Utah for Aja's wedding. Here are a few fun pictures from the wedding!

3rd of July
There was a carnival at a park near us for the 4th of July. It ran for two days so to beat the crowd we went on the 3rd right when it opened and we were pretty much the only ones there. Grandpa Haderlie bought tickets so that the kids could ride some of the rides. Kahlan loved it and Ian liked to Carousal but he over heated fast and got really tired. Here is some of the fun we had!
Kahlan loved this one! She did it twice!
Kahlan loved this one too! you spin yourself around while you go around. A girl after my own heart!
Slide!
Petting Zoo
There was an African Antelope that licked and tried to eat Ian's hair but I did not get a picture of it!More Catch up!
In March my sister Terra came to visit and I got a few picture of the kids with their cousin Adam.
We celebrated Easter with getting the movie Frozen and a egg hunt at home on Saturday. Then we were able to go to Church on Sunday to celebrate Christ's resurrection.
More pictures with cousin Soren who came to visit.
We got to go pony riding. Kahlan loved it but Ian was not so sure.
