June

In June, my parents were able to come down for a couple of days and we went to the pool! The kids had a ton of fun and I had fun because I didn't have to play with two kids the whole time. Especially Ian who is fearless and tries to jump in all the time.

My dad was a dolphin to ride!
I made a couple of headbands for Kahlan and I think they look so cute.
Free piggy banks for signing up for our library's summer reading program.
 More pool days.
My sister in law Tamar and her son Soren came to visit. We got to go to the park one day and here some fun pictures.

I love this picture because it looks like Kahlan pushed Ian down the slide but she really didn't

May Adventures

At the beginning of May our pool opened and the kids have had so much fun. Here are a couple of pictures from the first week.

In May we were able to go to Charleston, SC and spend a few days there. On the way there we went to a swamp called Cypress Gardens. We got to take the kids on a canoe ride, which they joyed. We walked around the swamp, we walked inside a butterfly building with them flying all around, we saw one wild alligator and three in a viewing area. There was a swampquarium that had all types of swamp creatures from all over the world. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures.

When we got into Charleston, we walked around downtown, which was fun. Then we went to Fort Moultrie, where we got rained on. It was a warm rain and Jake and I thought it was fun, like being kids again, But the kids did not think it was fun getting all wet. We were able to stay with my cousin McKensie and Kahlan had fun with her daughter Amelie and Ian was fascinated by Wren.

Lastly we able to go to the beach. It was not super warm so we didn't really go in the water but the kids had a lot of fun on the beach and looking for shells. Ian really liked digging in the sand.

Last but not least, at the end of May we were able to go to my friend Jessica's Wedding. She looked beautiful and Ian was the hit of the dance floor.

The shot: the whole time we could not get a good picture of Ian standing and smiling and then Aja snapped this one and I knew it was great!

 Trying to be a dancer!
Her hair is like an Elsa Twist. To be able to do her hair I have to relate it to Frozen! Elsa braid, Ana braid, Elsa twist....
