Kahlan's 1 year check up!

On Monday I took Kahlan for her one year check up. She is growing but not that fast! She was 15 lb 3 oz, which is the .11 percentile. She's 28.18 inches, which is the 22.5 percentile and her head was 16.5 inches, which is the .56 percentile. So basically I have a tiny little girl. She is healthy and developing well.

Well, Kahlan thinks she can out smart us sometimes. So yesterday at dinner we thought she was eating her quesadilla really well. But then I saw her put some into her bib pouch. She gets in trouble when she throws it on the floor so she thought if she hid it then she could have something else. Jake and I just laughed. She thought she was so clever.

The other evening we were coming home and it was raining a little and then we saw an amazing double rainbow. One of them you could even see the arch. Jake took some pictures so here are a few.....

Kahlan's 1st Birthday!

We had a birthday party for Kahlan. We invited family and had a great time. We started with opening of the presents and then went onto eating the cake! Kahlan seemed to enjoy it all. Here are the pictures we took.
