Big Feet

Kahlan recently grew giant feet so we bought her some new shoes to wear around the house.

On laundry day Kahlan likes to take the basket and play with her animals. I think its pretty cute!

I decided to try a new hair style. Her hair is getting long. It worked pretty good.

We decided to take Kahlan to a BYU basketball game. This was at a little party at the broadcast building before the game.

Catch up...

Well, this pregnancy has been pretty crazy so far. On top of being nausea all the time, I have gotten sick like three times. This last time was a cold and I'm almost over it....but it's been four weeks! I've had high blood pressure but the medicine is starting to control it more. The second half of the pregnancy should be fun with lots more doctor appointments. Kahlan has been great and becoming more independent. Here are some pictures from the last little while.

Halloween

We didn't do much for Halloween. We went to our ward chili cook off/Halloween party. Kahlan was a princess and Jake and I wore orange and black. Jake wanted to win the best tasting chili this year so he put a lot into the chili. It was a whole day process. Well...he didn't win the best but he won the spiciest. We didn't think it was that spicy but at least we won something:) We didn't take Kahlan trick or treating because she really doesn't eat candy. It will probably be the last year for not going. We did hand out candy to the neighborhood kids. Here are some pictures of our little princess...

Family Vacation!

Well we had a nice three week vacation and got to see all our family! We started out going to Minnesota to see some of Jake's mission and got to spend a few days with Tamar and Hailey. We saw the Jolly Green Giant, went to the Mall of America, went to the Como Zoo and walked on the University of Minnesota's Campus....

After Minnesota we drove to NC and spent a week at the beach with my family. It took Kahlan a while to get used to the sand and moving water but by the end she loved it!






Jake and I went to Carowinds for our third anniversary and had a blast going on all the rides a few times!
On the way back to Utah we spent some time with Jake's brother's family. Kahlan had fun with her cousins.

We had a great time with all our family. It is nice to be back home and Kahlan loves having her toys again. Can't wait for another vacation...haha!
