My little girl!

Kahlan is getting so big. At our last appointment she was eight pounds! She is doing a lot better at sleeping at night. Lately She has been loving bath time. She just kicks around and tries to eat the water. She is so much fun and cute! We love her so much and can't imagine life without her.

Kahlan Schmidt (1 Month)

Below are pictures of Kahlan at one month! Kahlan is doing great. She is eating well and doing better at sleeping. Last night she slept from 11 to 3:30 and it was so nice. She is awake more and will just look around. She is changing so fast and feels like she is getting big. She was 6 lb 1 oz two weeks ago at the doctor's. She is filling out, her cheeks are getting chubby and so are legs and arms. She will make funny faces when she is half asleep. She can also scream really well:) We love having her home and taking care of her!

It's getting closer!

I am now 29 weeks along and getting large:) Kahlan (the baby) is moving a lot and she loves to stay up in my ribs. Sometimes she kicks and it hurts. According to my doctor's appointment this week all is going well. It is hard sometimes to keep up with school but I am trying my best. Jake is doing well and putting up with me. We are just enjoying life and both are ready to be done school.

Funny story!

So Jake wanted to iron his nice pants to wear the next day. We don't use the iron that often so we tried to remember where we put it. We looked where we thought we put it. Jake had taken it out of the box and placed it somewhere "where we would use it more". Somewhere logical right! So we , we searched out storage areas, we looked in the second bedroom, in closets, in our room and all over. We could not find it so we searched all over again double checking each other. Then I walked into the kitchen and I asked did we put it in with the laundry stuff and sure enough it was there in the logical place. We just started laughing and Jake was able to iron his pants:)

Summer time

So we sort of started this blog but didn't so much with it. I am at work and bored so I am playing around with it. We are both just working right now. We did get to go back east for a bit and go to the beach which was fun. We have been playing on a softball team which has been fun. Not much going on in out life right now.

First entry for Schmidt Family 3

Alright now that we know this thing works and if looks good. Here is a quick update with the Schmidt family in Provo. Kelsey is working hard to finish her biology major. She is getting into classes she likes but still has to deal with some classes she wishes she didn't have to take. Jacob is working on his pre-major classes and hopes to apply for the major this coming fall semester. We just spent the weekend in Vegas to visit with Grandma Schmidt and Uncle Randy and and Janet. We also saw Uncle Dave as well. Since it was Kelsey's first visit to Vegas we went to the strip and checked out the free sites. Nice thing about the trip was the weather cause it has been cold in Provo the last few weeks. Well that seems to be an good rough update for the little Schmidt family Provo edition.
