Well Kahlan is growing up so fast. She is three now. We had a little party with friends. Here are some pictures.

Boys Don't Wear Dresses

Kahlan loves being a big sister! She is a big help, sometimes a little too much:) Yesterday we were all getting ready for church, Kahlan had her dress on, Jake and I were dressed but we still needed to get Ian ready. Jake is talking to Kahlan and here's how the conversation goes:
Jake: "Mom, has to get Ian ready for church."
Kahlan: (looking in her closet) "I have a little dress for Ian."
Jake: "Boys don't wear dresses."
Kahlan: (still looking in her closet and trying to figure somethimg out) "Ian wears dresses."
It took a little more explaining before she understood:)

Another good Kahlan story.
Since Kahlan has a little brother now, she has decided that Teddy is a boy. About a week ago, she was playing dress up, she had on a princess dress and she put a shirt on Teddy.
Jake: "Is Teddy a boy or a girl?"
Kahlan: "A Boy"
Jake: "Boys don't wear dresses."
Kahlan: (thinking really hard) "It's a skirt dad, not a dress!"
You can't argue with three year old logic!

Ian is still fitting in his premie clothes but he is growing. He was 5lb 3oz at the doctor this week. We are not sure what color his eyes are going to be. Some days they look brown, others they look gray or even a little blue. It's a mystery but he is just so cute anyways!

He really loves his pacifier!
