Six Months!!!

Here is a comparison of when we brought Kahlan home from the hospital (almost 3 weeks old) and her on September 11 (exactly 6 months old).

She usually goes crazy in the jumper but as soon as you get a camera in her face she freezes:)

As of late...

So Kahlan is growing so fast and starting to do so much more. At her 6 month check up she was 12lb 3oz and 24 1/4 inches long. Her head is .16 percentile so it is tiny:) Well, she likes being on her feet so we are glad that we have a saucer (that my sister Terra gave us) and a jumper (that my mother-in-law sent us). She loves both for a time and then wants a change of scenery. She is also getting really good at grabbing toys. Lastly, we have started her on rice cereal and she is doing well. It was really fun to see her face when we gave it to her. She tries to help me feed her by grabbing the spoon or using her left hand to chew the food:) I can't believe how big she is!!

Graduation!!!

I have made it through college now!! It feels so good to be done with my degree....well almost I just need to motivate myself to finish my independent study class:)

Standing!

All of the sudden Kahlan has discovered that she has legs that she can stand on! She will actually stiffen her legs and stand on your lap or on the couch or on the floor or anywhere. She thinks that she is so cool and will just smile. Sometimes she will giggle a little. She is just growing so fast!
