Standing!

All of the sudden Kahlan has discovered that she has legs that she can stand on! She will actually stiffen her legs and stand on your lap or on the couch or on the floor or anywhere. She thinks that she is so cool and will just smile. Sometimes she will giggle a little. She is just growing so fast!

Kahlan's new toys!

A few days ago we took Kahlan to the store to get her a stuffed animal. We put so many in front of her to see how she would react. Most of them she just looked at and didn't really respond to them. Then we found a little puppy and she grabbed at it. Here is Kahlan with her puppy.


Then Jake found this pink hedgehog and put it in front of Kahlan and she got a big smile on her face. It is now her favorite toy and she loves to eat the nose. It is basically her size but she loves it so much!

Morning Smile

Each morning I wake up to a stirring baby who is ready to get up. I walk into her room and look down at her and she greets me with a huge smile. It is the cutest thing. Then I take her out to the front room and she is just a happy little baby for a bit. This picture is one of her morning smiles!

Fourth of July

My sister, Ashley made Kahlan a cute Fourth of July dress. She got several compliments at church and they said she looked adorable. So here are a few pictures of her in the dress. We could not get her to give us her big smile so we got a couple with smirks!

Kahlan has discovered her hands now and she loves to eat them! Whichever one gets in front is the one thats gets in her mouth. She will just look at them and then get them to her mouth:)
